Built on a belief that recruiting could be better

Matchstick was founded with a simple observation: the recruiting industry is built around the wrong incentives. Percentage-of-salary fees reward firms for placing expensive candidates — not the right ones.

We set out to build a firm where success is measured by fit, retention, and the long-term impact of every hire. That meant rethinking how we price, how we search, and how we define a successful engagement.
